Training/Courses Terms
Road To Comp may change (review, update, add or remove) the content of its training programs at any time and at its sole discretion.
We reserve the right to refuse participants for any reason.
If the trainer cannot attend a session, you will be notified and that session will be rescheduled to a future date.
We have the right to cancel a scheduled course if we consider it doesn’t have a minimum number of people enrolled, or for any other reason we see valid.
Online
To sign up for our online courses you accept that an enrollment payment is required.
The payment is charged per course and prior to the its beginning, within the timeline stated by us, and provides you access to:
- a predefined number of live streaming sessions
- recordings of those online sessions for you to review, which will only be available for the duration of the course
- recorded feedback videos when specified in the course features
- access to licensed software, node locked or via VPN connection, as stated in the course features
- a certificate of successful completion of the course
Failure to complete the payment will give Road To Comp the right to deny your participation in the course.
If for some reason, we cancel a course for which you’ve already submitted your payment, the total amount will be reimbursed to you in full, and we owe you no further compensation of any type beyond that.
In Class
To sign up for our InClass courses you accept that an enrollment payment is required.
The subscription (sign up and payment) is managed by the venue specified in the course features and Road To Comp has no involvement in that process.
InClass courses will provide you access to:
- a predefined number of in class sessions
- access to licensed software, node locked or via VPN connection, as stated in the course features
- access to the course venue facilities and a personal computer during the limited hours specified in the course features, for exercise practice and showreel production
- a certificate of successful completion of the course
Access to licensed software
During our training courses, we provide access to licensed software, through either a node locked license or through our secure VPN server.
In both cases you will need to install the software in your computer. For the node locked solution, we will send you the license key for product activation. For the VPN solution, you’ll be connecting to our encrypted server and you’ll be given access to a license from our own pool.
This software is for your personal education use only. You may not use it for commercial purposes and its misuse (for any other purpose than the one stated) will result in the immediate termination of your access to the software and of your course participation without any refund or compensation whatsoever.
Furthermore, the entities than own the software may decide to take further actions against you. Whichever consequences arise from that we assume no responsibility or liability.
The installation of the software on your computer is of your own risk and responsibility, and we do not guarantee your ability to run it. It is up to you to ensure you have the necessary hardware/software conditions to do so on your computer.
Road To Comp makes an effort to provide as much support as possible, but your inability to do that, or to access the VPN licenses server, does not violate the terms of this agreement.
Payment
Our pricing and payment terms are available in each course description/features. If you agree to that price, that will remain your price for the duration of the whole course, and you are giving us permission to charge you on your PayPal account or debit/credit card.
You are responsible for providing us with a valid means of payment and you’re responsible for all fees, including taxes, associated with your use of the Service.
Cancellation and Termination
You may choose to cancel your enrollment in our online courses/training events at any time. We will give you a full refund of your payment (and no other kind of compensation), solely if the following conditions are met:
- you have submitted your payment, it has been processed and we have already received it, and
- the course hasn’t began yet and you gave us a 7 days written notice (prior to the start date of the course)
Otherwise, there will be no refund or compensation of any kind.
Upon cancellation, we will revoke your access to any licensed software and all content of the course.
All provisions of this terms will survive termination, including without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
